“The Experiment”

This summer the crew at 137 Films is in production for The Experiment. I can only tell you that this production has taken me to a dark university basement downstate. I’ll reveal more deats as we get cooking… or maybe we’re cooking at room temperature. (Hint: We’re investigating cold fusion.)

Maybe you know… or didn’t know that the twentieth anniversary  of  the Pons/Fleischmann announcement in 1989 was this March, igniting (no pun intended) lots of chatter about some potentially credible eureka moments in the world of low energy nuclear reactions (LENR).

As you probably guessed aside from teaching physics to disgruntled junior high kids (disgruntled from having to be taught by me– not for any dislike over physics) in an urban after school program– I am not a scientist. Science aside, the personal narratives involved in this particular quest for energy play out in so many layers. A lot of emotions. A lot of stories. We’re just starting to peel at that onion.
